How can you help build towards a better future? You can sponsor a Tibetan girl or boy or you can choose to support one of the Foundations’ projects. Sponsoring a Tibetan child The care of the children of Tibet is never-ending. As long as the situation in Tibet remains unchanged, there will always be a need to care for newly arrived children. In addition, the care of children already in the Children’s Villages must not be overlooked. Once these children have started their learning, they must be given the opportunity to complete their programmes. They will need to learn a trade or a profession; accommodation is needed as well as clothing, medical care and food. The Tibetan children rely entirely on financial support from abroad – your support. We ask for your help in ensuring that these children will have a future. It is reassuring to know that administration costs have been kept to a minimum and that between 96%-98% of your donation will directly benefit the children. In fact, one specific child, with whom you may have direct contact, if you wish. The future of a Tibetan child costs only € 30 per month, thus 1 Euro per day. The Children’s Village has calculated that for each child it needs € 30 per month, to provide it with all its needs. This includes all costs for food, clothing, medical care and education. With your monthly donation of € 30 you will be sponsoring a Tibetan child while at the same time supporting the future of the Tibetan people and a unique and peaceful community. Projects In addition to sponsoring one specific child, there is the opportunity of supporting projects for which the Foundation will collect the required capital. These projects vary from the building of a junior school, a wing to accommodate the teaching of vocational subjects, materials such as computers and sewing machines and medication to combat Tuberculosis.
